Mental Health First Aider Course

The Mental Health First Aider course, accredited by Mental Health First Aid England, provides in-depth understanding of mental health and the factors that can affect wellbeing. This course empowers participants to confidently support colleagues facing mental health challenges and promote a supportive, stigma-free workplace culture.

Course objectives

  • Understand common mental health issues and how they can affect people

  • Recognise the signs and symptoms of mental ill-health

  • Respond appropriately and effectively in a crisis

  • Provide initial support and encourage people to access professional help

  • Build a mentally healthy culture in the workplace

  • Maintain personal wellbeing while supporting others
